Earthworks Soaps are a true labor of love. I make one small batch at a time, fussing over them, giving each my utmost attention, adding various goodies like oats, goat's milk, cocoa butter, and clays for natural color and texture, healing properties and exfoliation. Incorporating only the highest grade essential oils to help sooth your soul as well as your skin.
You will not find any synthetic ingredients, artificial colors, preservatives, detergents or petroleum in any of my products; just 100% wholesome goodness that is hypoallergenic and cruelty free. Commercial Soaps
Many of the commercial "soaps" are not true soaps at all, but synthetic detergents as the natural glycerin is removed during the manufacturing process. Glycerin is a humectant which draws moisture to the skin. This is vital for healthy skin. The lack of glycerin is the primary reason most commercial soaps tend to dry out your skin. The essential fatty acids in the oils used in handmade soaps help to regulate moisture and nourish the skin, while the naturally occurring glycerin leaves your skin feeling silky smooth.
